Kaizen-Do Karate boasts many family members, in fact over 70% of our membership are families. We are by far the best Family Martial Arts Academy in the North West. We have family classes every single day – no other Academy in the area can state this. We also have a life saving Defibrillator which is a phenomenal piece of equipment that can save people’s lives.
Kaizen-Do Karate are also ‘Highly Commended’ by Rochdale Council & Link 4 Life. Kaizen-Do Karate also work closely with the British Heart Foundation delivering their ‘Heart Start’ courses – all massive signs that we are the best Academy’s in the area.
We truly are market leaders and experts for Karate tuition in Rochdale.
Our excellent award winning Full-Time Martial Arts Academy is run by Director & Chief Instructor Sensei Dervish and his team of professional, motivated and enthusiastic instructors. Sensei Dervish recently achieved the illusive title of Coach of the Year by Rochdale Council in recognition for his outstanding coaching skills. The ‘Highly Commended’ Academy by Rochdale Council/Link 4 Life is easily accessible to anybody in Rochdale and in the North West with its fantastic central location and excellent motorway links.
Myself and my eldest daughter Jodie (7) joined Kaizen-Do Karate in September 2009 on recommendation from Jodie’s school friend .Although not totally new to karate as we had previously trained at another club we were pleasantly surprised with the family orientation of Kaizen-Do and in addition the variety of the stimulating training methods. Sensei Dervish delivers training sessions which are diverse and suitable for all the students. Another of my girls Carly (4) has progressed from the excellent ‘Little Ninjas’ programme and now trains on a regular basis with the mixed classes. Both girls are becoming more confident, disciplined and learning how to defend themselves should the need arise. My wife Rebecca is also a member of the Academy. We feel, as parents, Kaizen-Do Karate has given our family increased fitness as well as mental alertness and discipline. I would recommend any parent or adult who brings their children to the Academy to give it a go and reap the rewards.
